Ayurveda is the ancient Indian medical science, the origin of which can be traced back to the Vedas, some of the oldest available writings of the world. The fundamentals of Ayurveda can be found in all the Vedic scriptures namely Rugveda, Atharvaveda, Yajurved and Samaved. AYURVEDA, the word itself is derived from two Sanskrit words AYU: meaning ‘life’, VEDA : meaning ‘knowledge’. Preserved
through the ages on delicate manuscripts and scrolls, Ayurveda is an ancient system of holistic healing from India.
